I'm a romance fan, be it novels or movies. I've seen the movie before I even got the chance to read the book, and for me the book was better. It gave more details than the movie did.

I've always believed in perfect, unbreakable love that can surpass any problem and always have a happy ending. Although this book is not of that kind, I still find it to be a very good romance novel.

Nicholas Sparks was successful in going beyond the normal love story plot and was able to perfectly depict the saying "Love- inspite and despite of".

The movie and the book was definitely worth my time and is highly recommended to all romance fanatics out there!
